ARMENIA

Welcome to Armenia! Armenia, a piece land which makes everyone fall in love with it from the very first sight from the illuminator of an airplane, from the very first step on the sun-drenched land. Armenia, officially the Republic of Armenia, is situated in the northeast of the Armenian. The country is situated on the same latitude as Spain, Italy and Greece. Its climate ranges from dry subtropical to cold mountain weather. The average temperature in July is +25 0C , and -5 0C in January.  The highest peak is mount Aragats (4090 m), while the lowest point is River Debed (400 m). Armenia was the first country that adopted Christianity as a state religion in 301 A.D. The Armenian Apostolic church is the national church of Armenians. Armenia is an open-air museum of Christianity. There are thousands of Christian monuments such as monasteries, churches, chapels  and cross-stones, manuscripts, icons, etc.

Yerevan is the capital and the largest city of Armenia, a colorful, joyful, eventful city. Yerevan (sometimes spelled Erevan, Erivan, Jerewan, Jerevan, etc.) has a long-long history of thousands of years, dating back to the rise of the oldest civilizations in the world.
